Conference Programme Ensuring Quality Support for Children with SEN in Mainstream Primary Education - in context of ECM & Children's Plan Tuesday 31 March 2009 Venue: Himley Hall Conference Fee - £175pp This Conference sets out to explore how quality SEN provision in the primary mainstream can be secured, what works in terms of inclusion policy and practice and the principles that underpin that practice. The Conference will revisit Government strategy as well as take a fresh look at the architecture and implementation of that strategy including the Team around the Child approach. The Inclusion Development Programme will be updated and the LA role and Multi-Agency working will be part of the fabric of the day. The Conference will provide participants with the ideal opportunity to reflect on their SEN and wider inclusion practice and have the chance to do so with national leaders as well as Children’s Workforce professionals from the Region.
